In 2024 I set out on a personal art challenge to celebrate gratitude creatively.
Every Friday, I gave myself a simple prompt: notice what I’m grateful for and turn it into something creative — sometimes playful, sometimes reflective, sometimes just the reminder I needed (and maybe you do too).
It became, and still is, a way to explore new creative directions while continuing the positive mental health practice of inclining your mind toward gratitude.
Even on the most frustrating days, there truly is always a reason to be grateful — the electricity powering my laptop as I write this, the ability to move my fingers across the keyboard, the music in the background keeping me company.
Gratitude multiplies when you practice it. I hope this series inspires you to look for your own everyday reasons to be grateful.
What are you grateful for today?
What can you find joy in?
How can you shift your perspective of a situation toward the positive?
